Give Agentforce the cadence and call context that lives in SalesLoft
SalesLoft is where your sales team runs cadences, records and logs calls, and tracks how prospects respond to every touchpoint in the sequence. When Emerge Digital connects it to Salesforce Agentforce, an agent handling a reply or briefing a rep before a call can read the full cadence context: which step the prospect is on, what they have engaged with, and what a prior call recording captured about their situation. The agent responds from the actual engagement history rather than from a CRM field that reflects what should have happened rather than what did.
What this unlocks
- Cadence-aware conversations: an agent knows which step a prospect is on and what they have opened, clicked, or replied to, so a follow-up continues where the sequence left off rather than resetting the conversation.
- Call context surfaced on demand: when a relevant SalesLoft call exists, an agent can reference the outcome and key discussion points before the next rep interaction, so continuity is automatic rather than dependent on a rep's notes.
- Engagement-driven routing: a prospect who re-engages unexpectedly — opening a sequence email after weeks of silence — is a signal the agent can surface to the owning rep rather than advancing the cadence to the next step regardless.
- Handoff with the full picture: when a conversation warrants a rep, the agent hands off with the cadence step, recent engagement, and call history already attached — the rep picks up with context rather than having to find it.
In the customer journey
Reply that continues the thread
A prospect replies to a cadence email. The agent reads the step, the last message content, and the engagement history from SalesLoft before composing a response — so the reply is a continuation of a relationship, not a generic acknowledgement that ignores what was already said.
Call brief from the recording
A rep is about to follow up with a prospect for the second time. The agent retrieves the SalesLoft call recording summary, surfaces what the prospect said they needed and what the rep committed to, and presents it before the call — so the conversation picks up from an informed position rather than a cold restart.
Flag the re-engagement before it cools
A prospect who went dark three weeks ago opens a SalesLoft email twice in one morning. The agent flags this to the rep and recommends stepping outside the automated cadence for a personal touch — so a buying signal gets a timely, human response rather than the next scheduled step.
Why not the SalesLoft–Salesforce native sync?
SalesLoft has a native Salesforce integration that writes cadence activity, call dispositions, and email engagement back to Salesforce as activity logs. This is useful for keeping CRM records current and for reporting, but it is not designed to make cadence state or call content queryable by an AI agent in real time. An Agentforce agent cannot ask the native sync which step a prospect is on, retrieve the key moments from a call recording, or act on a re-engagement signal the moment it appears. Emerge Digital builds the retrieval and action layer that makes SalesLoft genuinely available to an agent during a live sales interaction — different in kind from activity logging.
SalesLoft sits in the Engage and Convert stages — it is where sequences run, conversations are recorded, and the signals that indicate a prospect is progressing accumulate. Grounding agents in SalesLoft data means every interaction reflects the real engagement history rather than a CRM snapshot, and the signals SalesLoft captures in real time become inputs an agent can reason over rather than data that waits in a dashboard for a human to notice.
How Emerge integrates SalesLoft
Emerge Digital connects SalesLoft to Salesforce Agentforce as a consulting engagement. We map which cadence and call data your agents need to read, configure retrieval against step state and call recordings, and define what an agent may adjust in SalesLoft versus what the owning rep decides. Your cadences keep running; the integration makes their output available to agents as real-time context rather than replacing the engagement workflow your team is already running.

FAQ
How is this different from the Outreach + Agentforce integration?
The use case is similar — both give Agentforce agents access to sales engagement context so follow-ups are informed and handoffs are smooth. The difference is purely the platform: if your team runs SalesLoft, Emerge connects SalesLoft; if they run Outreach, we connect Outreach. The integration approach is equivalent.
Can the agent advance or pause a cadence step?
That is configurable per engagement. Most teams start by giving agents read access to cadence state and letting reps make cadence decisions themselves; the access boundary expands as confidence in the agent grows. Emerge designs the permission layer around your team's comfort level.
We already log SalesLoft activity to Salesforce — why do we need this?
Logged activity records are useful for reporting and CRM hygiene, but they are not queryable by an Agentforce agent in real time. An agent cannot ask a logged activity which cadence step a prospect is on or retrieve what was said in a call recording. This integration adds that retrieval layer.
How long does a SalesLoft + Agentforce integration take?
A focused engagement typically runs four to eight weeks: scoping which cadence data and call content agents need, building the retrieval layer, configuring re-engagement signal routing, and testing follow-up and handoff workflows in a sandbox. Complexity scales with the number of cadences in scope and whether agents write back to SalesLoft in addition to reading from it.
