Bring the Notion workspace your company runs on into Agentforce
For many startups and scale-ups, Notion is the operating layer: wiki pages sitting beside databases that track projects, customers, content, and hiring — each database with typed properties, relations, and the views the team works from daily. When Emerge Digital connects it to Salesforce Agentforce, agents read both kinds of content: the prose that explains how the company works, and the structured records of what is happening — a page cited and a database checked in the same turn.
What this unlocks
- Databases are read as structure, not prose: an agent checks a status property, a relation to another database, or a date field, so a question about where things stand is answered from values the team keeps current.
- Wiki pages ground the qualitative answers — the how-we-do-things material that never fits neatly into a CRM field.
- Teams that keep operational truth in Notion do not have to migrate it into Salesforce first; agents reach it where it already lives.
- Exposure is deliberate: which pages and databases agents may read is decided in the integration, so a workspace mixing strategy documents with day-to-day trackers reveals only what you intend.
In the customer journey
Check the tracker before answering
A customer question depends on the state of a project the team tracks in a Notion database, and the agent reads the matching record's properties — status, owner, dates — so the answer reflects the tracker rather than an assumption.
Process answers from the workspace
An internal query about how something is done gets answered from the Notion page where the process is written down, sparing a team member from re-finding the page or asking around in a channel.
CRM and workspace in one turn
Agentforce reads the Salesforce record for who the customer is and the Notion database for what the team is doing about them, so a response reflects both systems without anyone copying between them.
Notion's journey fit depends on what your team keeps in it — which is exactly the nature of a flexible workspace. Most often it strengthens Engage and Optimize, grounding service and internal answers in the pages and databases where operations genuinely live; for early-stage companies, including the fast-growing teams across the UAE and Saudi startup scene, it is often the nearest thing to a system of record an agent can read.
How Emerge integrates Notion
Emerge Digital connects Notion to Salesforce Agentforce as a consulting engagement — there is nothing to install and switch on. Because every Notion workspace is organised its own way, the work begins with mapping: which databases hold operational truth, which properties matter, which pages are documentation worth retrieving. We then build the retrieval and read access around that map, and draw the boundaries so agents see the trackers and pages you chose and nothing else in the workspace.

FAQ
How is this different from connecting Confluence?
Confluence is formal documentation — spaces and page trees maintained as a record. Notion mixes prose with databases, so the integration treats it as two things at once: retrievable pages and readable structured records. If your operations live in Notion databases, that structure is the point of connecting it.
Can agents write to our Notion databases?
Where you grant it. Read access is the usual starting point; if you want agents updating records — a status property, a log entry — Emerge configures which databases and properties accept writes and keeps a person reviewing anything consequential.
Do we install something from Notion's integration gallery?
No. Emerge builds and governs the connection as a services engagement designed around how your particular workspace is organised — the mapping of your databases and pages is most of the value, and it cannot be downloaded.
