Why not Azure's native Salesforce integration?

Can the agent create or delete Azure resources autonomously?

Pre-defined provisioning workflows triggered by commercial events — creating a customer environment from an ARM template when a deal closes — are in scope with appropriate oversight. Ad hoc resource creation, modification, or deletion by agents without an engineering-approved workflow is not. Infrastructure changes with billing or availability consequences require a human-in-the-loop step.

We use AWS or Google Cloud rather than Azure — can you connect those instead?

Yes. Emerge has equivalent integrations for AWS and GCP (as a Google Cloud Partner). The cloud infrastructure integration use case — service health in customer conversations, commercial event-driven provisioning, and cost context in account briefings — applies across all major cloud providers.

We use Azure for internal workloads but not for customer environments — does this apply?

The use case is most relevant where Azure is part of the service delivered to customers. If Azure is purely internal infrastructure not connected to customer service relationships, the integration provides narrower value — primarily the cost anomaly alerting and the developer workflow integrations (Azure DevOps pages separately).
